Hey y’all!
My name is Calista Case (she/her/hers), and I am a Kentucky-grown actor, singer, and dancer, currently based in New York City.
I am currently completing my BFA in Drama at New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts, where I study Musical Theatre at the New Studio on Broadway.
I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and have performed in various educational and regional theatre productions in the Central Kentucky area. After moving to New York City, I was lucky to have gotten to perform in several cabarets in the city with companies such as Let’s Broadway NYC and Roberto Morean Productions. During my time at NYU, I was ecstatic to perform in my collegiate productions with roles like Meg Boyd in Damn Yankees and Duke Solinus/Dr. Pinch in The Comedy of Errors. Other roles I have performed over the years include Janet Van de Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Anne Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Rizzo in Grease, and Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia!
During the pandemic, I discovered a passion for classical voice and opera. Since then, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, and was awarded 1st place in Classical and Musical Theatre at the 2022 Mid-South Region competition with the National Association for Teachers of Singing.
In the fall of 2022, I established a radio program that uplifts the musical sounds of Kentucky through bluegrass, folk, and americana music. My show, Fiddlin’ Around, broadcasts weekly on WZNN Hound FM and is available for streaming on Apple Podcasts, with live musical sets and interviews from new artist every week. Along with producing my radio program, I also do voiceover work for WCDA HITS and serve as Assistant Engineer at Oktaven Audio in Mount Vernon, NY.
I am always on the lookout for the next opportunity to create and collaborate with people like you! I can’t wait to meet you.
