Hey there!

My name is Calista Case (she/her/hers), and I am an actor, singer, dancer, and radio host with experience in recording engineering.

I am currently completing my BFA in Drama at New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts, where I study Musical Theatre at the New Studio on Broadway.

As an actor, I have performed in various educational and regional theatre productions in my home state of Kentucky. I studied and performed at Interlochen Center for the Arts during the summers of 2018 and 2019. I was ecstatic to perform over the years in roles like Janet Van de Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Anne Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Rizzo in Grease, and Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia! After moving to New York, I made my performance debut in the city in Roberto Morean’s “Raise Your Voice: A Cabaret For a Cure”, a benefit performance for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

During the pandemic, I discovered a passion for classical voice and opera. Since then, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, and was awarded 1st place in Classical and Musical Theatre at the 2022 Mid-South Region competition with the National Association for Teachers of Singing.

While at NYU, I created a radio program that uplifts the musical sounds of Appalachia with bluegrass, folk, and Americana broadcasting. I am stoked that my show, Fiddlin’ Around, has been broadcasting on NYU’s student-run radio station WNYU (89.1FM and wnyu.org) since October 2022, and has featured live sets and interviews with artists that I engineered. Fiddlin’ Around has developed a love for radio and recording in me, and I am so thankful to be currently serving as the Spring 2024 Net Radio Director at WNYU, as well as the General Assistant at the recording studio Oktaven Audio in Mount Vernon, NY.

I am always on the lookout for the next opportunity to create and collaborate with people like you! I can’t wait to meet you.
